Hi, I’m Dax (yes that is my real name)! I'm just a guy who LOVES to take beautiful photos and feel everyone deserves epic pictures of their loved ones! I promise we’ll have an absolute blast together!

Somehow I stumbled into this gig and never looked back. I shoot all over the world now and still get paid to push a button and make fun of people. Look, I married an incredible woman who’s insanely hot (and her looks are her third best feature), and let’s be honest she didn’t marry for looks! Somehow, I keep her laughing and entertained so I promise you I can definitely keep you and yours actually enjoying having your photos taken!

I'm extremely blessed to be able to do what I love in the place that I love!  I owe it all to my amazing wife Jennifer, who has inspired everything I do and continues to be my biggest supporter and critic, which is probably why I love weddings so much...I LOVE love!  

We thought we weren’t able to have children. 7 years after we stopped trying…surprise!!!! Our son Oberon entered our lives and has changed it in all the best ways!

Fun Facts About Me!

• My wife proposed to me! (on one knee, ring in hand...the full deal)

• I'm an equal opportunity mocker

• Our son’s name is Oberon which means noble bear…and is also from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Nights Dream.

• I'm a huge fan of The Bachelor (no judging)

• Our puppy is spoiled beyond measure and every week I grill up chicken and steak for her

• I draw my wife every year as a 1940's style pinup every year for her birthday

• The City of Missoula named a day after me (seriously...April 11th is Dax Day! They dedicated it to me after I won the volunteer of the year award in 2011)

• I was born and raised in Missoula, Montana

• I have a bunch of degrees…Human Biology, Fine Art Photography with minors in Chemistry, Microbiology and Virology

• My wife literally uses those actual degrees to hide things in the background of her zoom calls LOL!

• I was voted Missoula's Best Photographer 3 years in a row

• LOVE pinball and vinyl! Have 2 pinball machines and my vinyl collection is legit!

• I've been a judge for the Miss Montana Pageant

• I talk about my wife way too much

• I took all the photos/video of my wife and I on this page (I've got skills)
