This is the absolute WORST at any wedding! Guests don’t know what to do, the wedding party has no idea what comes next. Chaos reins! When you’re making your schedule work with your vendors to understand the flow of a wedding and do your absolute best to make sure there is no awkward downtime for your guests. The main worry point is typically between the ceremony and the reception. If you have any early ceremony time make sure that you’re wedding reception starts right afterward…I’ve seen too many weddings with hours in between the ceremony and the reception. This is often the case if you have a ceremony in a church that has a strict mass schedule forcing a mid afternoon ceremony. Bottom line make sure your day goes smoothly and plan your reception to immediately follow the ceremony no matter when it starts.
